Things in the disease are going well. We're working on more hot tunes for a future recording, and recently, we rocked the shit out of a wedding in Stratford last weekend. It was the funkiest thing on earth. Seriously.

Breakthrough New Discovery

After much research of the utmost difficulty, the good Doctor has discovered a new strain of disease....

Spreading his oh-so-contagious sound on keys, the band would like to welcome David "Aids" Atkinson into its deathly grip.

The band has been working ever so hard to develop its already funky sound... if all goes as planned we will be playing at Falstaff's in Stratford Ontario, next Friday, November 12. This is T.B.C. so check back here for more details later in the week. We are also playing a wedding this month, and December will feature performances in Stratford and Oshawa so stay tuned!

guess what?

it's the VD!! i mean...the virtual disease. that's right. the doctor is in, and we've hit internet status. scary, no?

for those of you just joining us, this is the official blog of "Dr. Payne and the Disease". It's pretty hip, I know. This will be where all our gig announcements, well wishings, and random anecdotes are...so...this has a lot of potential to be great.

about the band...

there are about eight of us. we tend to rock out with our respective gender specific organs out. we play not only funk, but also jazz, a little latin, and some glorious classic rock. that's right, we rule. we are number one. all others are two or lower.
